Shooting...

A couple years back I randomly bumped into the manager of a pheasant shoot near Cranleigh in Surrey whilst out taking some landscapes. I went on to shoot some of my favourite images.

Fast forward, and last week whilst again out taking some landscapes I bumped into yet another shoot manager. So yesterday I found myself on another shoot. I've now decided to start shooting a new project about what I feel is a romance with the English countryside. Pheasant shooting, fly fishing, farming, stately homes are all engrained in the history of our countryside and help I believe make it what it is today and are what help make our countryside feel distinctly English.

Anyway, here's a few shots from yesterday... this will be something I revisit on days off.
