A deep sigh... graduation over, university over. Sat in my empty yet somehow still messy university room I know that this will probably be the last time I visit Bournemouth for a long time.

Friday was graduation, the day you dress like Harry Potter, throw a few hats in the air, and hold a scroll that doesn't seem to bear any resemblance to the course I just completed (shouldn't it be a camera or a photo instead?). Initially I didn't see the point in graduation, but it was a nice way to finish it all. After all the officialdom of the service a reception was held back at the campus where everyone had their families down and milled about drinking champagne and eating strawberries. It was the last chance to see the different exhibitions before they all move on to their next stop in London. Platon who I and Anna Michell had interned with at the end of our first year was in attendance. He was awarded an Honourary Fellowship for hosting our first years every year on their annual New York trip. It was a great day, with a hint of sadness. I'm sure I'll miss the people, the place and the experience, but as long as I carry on pushing with the photography I know I won't miss that.

Now all the prints have been taken down from the Bournemouth show and are on route to the Printspace for the next stop. Make sure you come down and visit, stop by for a drink, browse the portfolios and say hi!

See you soon.
