Last week...

Sorry for the lateness of this post. Been quiet a busy week. Most of the week was spent organizing our end of year show, trying to sort out sponsors etc... Thursday was a good day. Me Roman, Montana and Amy all met up at the printspace to sort out our prints for the show. After many test strips and emptying my bank account I finally got my prints done. I've opted to go for four 20x16 prints mounted onto white MDF, with baton attachments for the wall. All the images are going be from my Ghana series, with one new image thrown in that wasn't in the final edit.

After printing I headed with an old friend over to the LCC to see the Photography and Photojournalism end of year shows. The courses at LCC have a really good reputation, so we were quite excited. There were some good people on the main photography course, but photojournalism felt a bit disappointing. One person really stuck out as impressive; Emilie Kelly. Her International Portrait Gallery series was beautiful, slightly reminiscent of Samuel Fosso's work, however I do really like Emilie's series.
